Waste Management (NYSE:WM), the largest processor of waste in North America, is making good money from garbage collection. With 264 active solid-waste landfills, Waste Management is the largest Youths should establish companies with financial assistance (loans) from the government or development partners to provide solid waste collection services in cities and districts. The activities can be categorized into different stages namely waste production, handling, processing and storage at point of generation, (CPCB, 2000). Solid waste management (SWM) has three basic components, namely, collection, transportation and disposal. The objective of SWM is to reduce the quantity of solid waste disposed off on land by recovery of materials and energy from solid waste in a cost effective and environment friendly manner.
