BLM handbooks are considered BLM HandbooksThe Bureau of Land Management handbooks provide detailed instructions for implementing the policy and direction described in the BLM manual sections. Handbooks provide specific detailed instructions, techniques, procedures, practices, and processes. BLM manuals define the basic authority for performing tasks and identify who bears the ultimate responsibility for seeing that these tasks are accomplished.
